WDN Cares is the charitable and community outreach initiative of Worcester Daily News dedicated to making a positive impact throughout Worcester and Central Massachusetts.

While Worcester Daily News is committed to informing the public through trusted local journalism, WDN Cares extends that mission beyond the newsroom by supporting individuals, families, veterans, nonprofit organizations, and community programs that improve the quality of life throughout the region.

WDN Cares was established on the belief that strong communities are built when people come together to support one another. Through volunteer efforts, community partnerships, fundraising campaigns, donation drives, and service projects, WDN Cares works to address local needs while encouraging community involvement and civic engagement.

Our goal is simple: to use our platform, resources, and community partnerships to help make Worcester and Central Massachusetts stronger, healthier, and more connected.

Holiday Food Drive

Holiday Toy Drive

The WDN Cares Holiday Toy Drive helps provide gifts to children and families during the holiday season.

Care Package Program

WDN Cares assembles and distributes care packages for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Care packages may include:
